- Telangana Trade Promotion Corporation Limited
The erstwhile Government of Andhra Pradesh incorporated A.P. State Export and Import Corporation Ltd. (APSEIC) on 5.6.1970 as a trading company to facilitate import and export trade in the State. The APSEIC was subsequently renamed as AP State Trading Corporation (APSTC) on 31.01.1972 with a mandate to do exim business and internal trade. APSTC was engaged in exports and imports of various goods and commodities which includes rice, cement, iron ore etc., clearing and forwarding at many ports in the country serving government organistions and departments and was the custodian of air cargo at airports and Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The management with a view to revamp the corporation during the year 2006-07 taken up reforms in the Corporation including restructuring. In the process of restructuring, the corporation was renamed as AP Trade Promotion Corporation Ltd. to play a catalytic role in promotion of trade and industry in the State of A.P.
Consequent to the bifurcation of the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh on 02.06.2014 in to State of Andhra Pradesh and State of Telangana in terms of the AP Reorganization Act 2014, TSTPC Ltd was also bifurcated into APTPC and Telangana State Trade Promotion Corporation (TSTPC). The TSTPC incorporated on 27.09.2014 with a mandate to:
